PVA, also called PVOH, is a film-forming polymer used in warp sizing to help protect yarn, bind loose fibers and support abrasion resistance during weaving.
The product packaging shows PVA 20–90 PG in a 25 kg pack. Confirm the exact ordered grade, current availability and batch specification with AlHaram.
Grade codes vary by producer. Request the manufacturer’s technical data sheet and batch certificate of analysis. Do not infer exact viscosity or hydrolysis from the packaging code alone.
PVA can be evaluated in suitable starch-containing size systems. Confirm grade compatibility, blend ratio, solids, preparation and desizing requirements in a controlled mill trial.
